Adding feature always takes time. But I don't think we are asking much. All I want is just basic integration like Tweetie 1 on iPhone. Nothing fancy, really. You can always tweak the usability or think about how much Ping.fm features you want to integrate later.

It would be good to show currently selected category's unread count on browser title. So it would be something like "f | Category (unread count #)"
