Bug with signing up for concurrent sessionsBug with sign up for events happening at the same time: one can sign up for several sessions happening simultaneously.
By defualt, if you try to sign up to events one by one, Crowdvine checks whether you're busy and disables control (removing "plus" button and replacing it with the notification "you signed up as attendee elsewhere") and everything is fine.
But if one opens several concurrent events in tabs and then clicks sign up buttons for each of them, Crowdvine doesn't check for potentional schedule conflict and adds those events to one's personal list.
Reproducing:
* Choose some concurrent events in the program;
* Make sure you aren't signed up for any of them;
* Open them in several browser tabs/windows;
* Try to sign up for all of them.

How to increase the thread depth limit in discussions?We encountered that there's a limit for thread depth in the discussion — i.e. when thread reaches four posts, last post can't be replied, only the one that's above.
It's very inconvenient, because people can't actually talk in long conversations, with discussion eventually breaking up when reply limit is hit. (See example here: http://community.icamp2009.ru/posts/5...)
Is there any way to fix that? If nesting is limited to 4 levels - we're fine with that, but don't lock the reply option! Otherwise it extinguishes all the possible long chats that could be useful for community.
A comment on the idea "Please, make the synchronization dialog NON-modal!" in Xmarks:
There's an additional issue: when Xmarks encounters an error (I got the infamous "Unknown error occured (3)"), the modal window doesn't report anything at all and displays the rolling progress indicator. I noticed that after I came back to my desktop half an hour later to see if there's any change. I had to press Cancel and then go to settings to see the log. Otherwise I could've waited for a while it seems.
What it should've been like in better case scenario:
- Sync window is non-modal and doesn't block my hundred and a half open tabs.
- If error occured it is reported in the sync window, offering choices to retry, abort sync or open Settings window, with additional advanced option to show trailing log entries for sending to Xmarks support. – urbansheep, on July 23, 2009 09:05-

Guys, if you want to discourage manual sync, just remove the "Synchronise now" option from context menu of the status bar icon and remove hot key bind.
Synс window being modal is a big issue, because instead of moving the option to a deeper place in the interface you punish users for using the option you offer in the list of "top choices". Forcing users to remember that "here is this option BUT I must remember that it will hold my window hostage" isn't really a friendly way to do things. And considering that progress indicator in this modal window is more of a "busy" indicator and doesn't show time estimate to finish — all in all looks like an interface disaster.-

How to change date and time display formats for schedule and talks?Due to local customs and tradition, we would like to switch time from 12h/AM-PM to 24h mode in our schedules and event listings. I haven't found any switches in settings, so is there any way to fix that? (If that's possible to fix via Liquid templates, I am fine with that too, just point me in the direction.)
urbansheep marked one of Terrie Miller's replies in CrowdVine as useful. Terrie Miller replied to the question "Custom CSS?".
urbansheep replied on July 07, 2009 21:45 to the question "Custom CSS?" in CrowdVine:
Oh, thanks, Terrie, it's a good idea. It definitely should be workable (while maybe not too desirable — I was brought up with the idea that having a style block outside of the head element is considered not too healthy coding style).
But I found a workaround, it seems! In /pages (Component editor) there's an option to fix the whole css template, so I'll just paste the source template along with whatever changes I might actually need. Hopefully it'll work otherwise I'll revert to the defualt template and will fall back to your advice.
Thanks. :)

Custom CSS?Custom colors for page elements are cool, but is there any option to embed our own style sheet (useful to change font proportions for all those little pieces like "updated" and tag sizes, remove italics etc.)? Custom header allows for custom links and html but as it's inside the <body> element I can't actually squeeze there a reference for external css or just a style block override.
Something like a "url to custom css" field in the design settings screen would definitely help.
Thanks!</body>

Crowdvine in a different language: what are our choices for localisation?We're working on a test install of CV and looking for a best way to translate the interface to Russian. So far we could fix the main menu labels on top, but the rest of the interface is still in English.
Is there any chance for us or is CV not up for the task yet and we should just drop this whole localisation idea? Localised interface would be a major help to us in the conference that we're currently preparing as many of our attendees won't be fluent in any language other than Russian.
Thanks!-

Please, could you provide an easier link/button for logging in via Google?-
