hi, i bought my bag from a retailer in Singapore, not from timbuk2.com. i already check with the person who sold me the bag and she says that there a return would not be possible and no retail shop would do that.
so would like to check what can i do or who can i turn to in this case? is there a HQ for timbuk2 in singapore or is there a official distributor which i can bring my return to?

hi can anybody help pls? would appreciate it very much. currently i am not able to use my timbuk2 to carry my stuffs at all. i mainly place stuffs like books and files in the bag to bring it to school. but putting all those in the timbuk2 messenger will make it basically unbearable for my back. furthermore, the bag doesnt seems to support any weight.
is timbuk2 messenger designed to carry soft and light product like clothes and jackets only? or is there a defect in my bag or a error in the way i carry my bag? it seems to me that timbuk2 messenger is not suited to carry any rigid and hard objects like books and files. i have spent quite a fortune on this bag. i really don wanna give up the bag so soon.

i tried place it high on my back. but it seems that the bag with the file inside is like edging on my back such that it is not able to "stick" to my back and it seems to me like a awkward position. tats the reason why the edge is pressing again my back. its like the whole bag is rest on its edge on my back. furthermore, i tried carrying it pretty low as well, but thats very tough on my shoulders. Haiz. maybe i made a wrong investment =( or could anybody post a pic on how to wear this bag? thanks in advance.. – user0000, on September 24, 2008 15:46

can someone help me with my new timbuk2??????Hi, i just bought a timbuk2 medium messenger. may i know how should i wear the bag?
usually i will put plastic boxy type of file in my bag to hold the assignments and other paper stuffs. However, if i proceed to sling the bag on my back the file will be pressing against my back painfully.
i would like to find out if i carry the bag wrongly or is there a defect in the one i bought? i had a crumpler before this i nv have this problem. the "flat" of the file will be "sticking" closely and comfortably to my back. but for my new timbuk2, the edge of the file is pressing painfully against my back no matter how i adjust. Pls kindly advise.
A comment on the question "is there a difference appearance-wise between cordura and ballistic nylon" in Timbuk2:
canvas? does this mean that the cordura "attract" dust and dirt more easily than the ballistic fabric? As my bag are mostly placed on dusty floors or carpets and on sand at the beach i would really love to have sth which is no so "dust attractive". haha, i have seen the ballistic fabric and it seems pretty good. just wondering if cordura is as good with regards to "dust and dirt". I have seen the waxed canvas bag before and though i love the look and feel of it it seems to "attract" white particles and dirt readily. – user0000, on April 24, 2008 13:30

is there a difference appearance-wise between cordura and ballistic nylonhi, does both ballistic nylon and cordura looks the same? do you have any photos of the cordura material? i cant exactly see the difference from the picture on the timbuk2 website and i think they look the same.
