A comment on the question "What are plans to support the Firefox 3 advanced bookmark features?" in Foxmarks:
Ah gotcha. Now I see what you mean. We don't have any immediate plans to build the Smart Bookmark functionality into my.foxmarks.com but we'll certainly keep it on our list of improvements for the site. Thanks for the suggestion! – Gaurav, on October 02, 2008 21:30
A comment on the question "What are plans to support the Firefox 3 advanced bookmark features?" in Foxmarks:
The problem is that we cannot access the smart bookmarks like "Recently Bookmarked" from my.foxmarks.com. Double clicking on the icon gives an error "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (place) isn't associated with any program". When would we get the feature to access the bookmarks under these smart bookmarks through foxmarks? – prady, on October 02, 2008 20:49

Hello. Just wanted to make sure that developers who use Twitter's API are aware of impending changes to the API's JSON responses, which may affect or break existing applications.
The change will take effect on October 25, 2008.
See this thread in the Twitter Development Google Group for details.
(And please pardon this posting if you already know this news.)

Try creating a new profile in Firefox and seeing if you can log in. I have had some issues where something will get hosed in the profile and things just don't work right. If that works, use Foxmarks to move your bookmarks, write down and reinstall your add-ons, and stick with the new profile. If that was causing the problem then there is likely to be other problems later if you don't anyway.

BK Gupta replied on August 28, 2008 22:47 to the problem "How do I get external feeds to update when they change?" in Dipity:
Hi guys, we understand your frustration here. Feeds should update quickly and continually. We've had a hard time with this one, with on-again off-again problems. Some feeds are still taking up to a few days to get updated. This is clearly not acceptable to us and we'll keep working hard to make the update continual and reliable. We hope you'll bear with us as we grow, and thanks for using Dipity.
