Offtopic: Google wants your ideas! This is not directly related to the GetSatisfaction service but it does have something to do with it.
Without doubt GetSatisfaction is as a space not only for reporting bugs and nusiances but sharing new ideas as well. I am convinced that it is a natural hub for people with ideas, creative spirit and passion for innovation. This is why I'd like to tell you about this Google event: http://www.project10tothe100.com, deadline is October 20th, 2008.
PS:
If the GS team consider this message as spamful, I utterly agree on its deletion. :)

uzzer asked a question in RSSOwl on September 27, 2008 16:40:
where is the RSSOwl cache stored? How can I save the RSSOwl cache? What I want to do is to save (in a single file preferably) all content which has been downloaded from the feeds when browsing them.
uzzer shared an idea in RSSOwl on September 27, 2008 10:15:
automated backup of feedsCurrently the way to backup feeds is to manually export them to a single file. What about an option to set RSSOwl to automatically export the feeds to a predefined file (in a predefined folder) upon exit of the program?

Perhaps you could integrate with (or buy out or sell to :) Software Informer? Their tool has this focus. From my review at http://wakoopa.com/software/software-...
"Looks at all installed software rather than running software, and focuses on updates rather than use. Provides forums for user-based Q&A. Not as pretty or social as Wakoopa, but results in a bigger list of watched software."-

Discover new interesting software is for me the most importante feature of wakoopa. Actually it's very limited.
The classification of the office 2.0 database is most efficient to discover new aps.

That may help. So you'd export the ribbon as XML. If you don't have Visual Studio you could grab one of the Express editions:

I'm still looking into a much simpler way to do the export and import though.
