This weird display behavior usually happens when you receive or post a tweet that has a long string with no spaces (usually a URL).
Twitter uses spaces to know where a word ends. Since there's no space in that long string of characters, Twitter displays the whole string as one long word, and it spills over beyond the intended display area.
The problem usually disappears when the offending tweet moves into your Older pages or when you delete the tweet.

Updates spilling out over the navigation bar.Why are all the updates going across the page over the right hand navigation bar on the home page? I am not able to click on any of the links because the messages become active. I am on a Mac so wondering if this is a browser issue.
