Can you see something in front of 'Activation Key' field (License window)?
If not, then your MediaDex copy is registered but not activated. To finish this latter step, press 'Register via www...' button, fill in the online form and you'll receive the full license with both registration and activation keys.

Can you see preview the videos?
If yes, that means that your MediaDex installation and required programs are correctly installed, but your video is compressed using a special not supported codec.
If not, something is wrong with your MediaDex -something that could be fixed..

Do you have the same problem with all your MOV files? Make sure your Quicktime player is updated and that 'QuickTime Movie' filter have a high rank in 'Preferences> Asset Handling Sets> Asset Formats'.

No, according to MediaDex official sources, it's not supported. However it could run without major issues (depending on the machine configuration); they also said next version will be fully supported..
