vangispen marked one of abubnic's replies in PBwiki as useful. abubnic replied to the idea "Cool trick for logging into a wiki without an account.".

To be honest, I don't care about 1.0 bug fixes, it's working perfectly for me! Thanks PBwiki!
I believe most 1.0 bugs are in Point-and-Click editor and other 1.0 features I don't use or have a workaround for.
As long as the render engine isn't changed, current features stay in place & current workarounds keep working, great or better: awsome!
For some 1.0 wikis it's too much hassle to migrate to 2.0: no support (so far ...) for iframe and style tags, no wikilets. Bummer. Maybe in the future? Hopefully!
And I will use 2.0 of course, but differently.

I'm truly sorry to interrupt here but as far as I understand you will never have to upgrade to 2.0 if you don't want to. See PBwiki Representative's statement: "we still won't cut off your 1.0 wikis and we don't plan to - ever".
vangispen replied on March 26, 2008 00:12 to the question "Is Javascript supported in PBwiki 2.0?" in PBwiki:
Here's a free workaround to put arbitrary javascript and CSS code into a 2.0 wiki!
* without having to resort to the wiki-wide (feature to be paid) Custom HTML tool
* on every -single- wiki page.
Choose
1) Insert Plugin
2a) Productivity -> Any Google Gadget or
2b) Video -> YouTube video
3) paste code
4) click Preview
do not mind the preview and click OK
Done!-

vangispen replied on March 24, 2008 17:51 to the question "How can I delete the boxes on the right panel (Recent Activity, Sharing, Folders)?" in PBwiki:
I did it. I could, under a previous incarnation of 2.0, insert some style code into a page that made those things disappear. But PBwiki removed the ability to do this: insert arbitrary code into HTML plugin.
You can still accomplish this by custom CSS and/or wikiwide custom HTML (paid features, likely).

vangispen replied on March 06, 2008 02:12 to the question "Is there a tip for all browsers to insert img src code without having to edit the source?" in PBwiki:
would it be better to explain to educators "what's done and what not"?
would it be better if educators would teach their pupils the above?
would it be better to explore possibilities of hosting files elsewhere?
would it be better to pay when you can get it for free?
would it be better to consider bandwidth when making files?
would it be better to think? I chose the latter.
