vannelli2000 replied on October 21, 2009 20:05 to the problem "Excel 2008 complains about missing xla (plugin) file on startup" in Microsoft Corporation:
Go into tools in Excel and scroll down to Add-Ins. It should give you a menu with the offending add-in in it. Click on it and it should ask to delete it. Click on delete and you are done.
