vdepizzol reported a problem in Songbird on December 03, 2008 18:39:

Songbird looks like an alien in GNOME desktop.
While there are some themes that make Songbird windows-like, there's nothing related with that for GNOME/GTK+. And since most of GNOME apps have an specific and unified appearance, an application like Songbird in the GNOME desktop makes it look like an alien.

Since Firefox integrates quite well with GTK+, I think that there shouldn't have many technical issues to fix this problem.

If you wonder "How do I integrate it with GNOME?", I would answer: "Use the current GTK+ Theme, detach the menu from the title bar, use the current GTK+ font and use tango-based icons".
