Using openzoom in a project. How do I pay proper respects and license open zoom and its author for use? From what I read, I copy and past the GNU license into my code... is that all?

How Do I Rotate and/or Crop the Image in the Viewport?
If I'm building an application using OpenZoom, how would I go about : 1) rotating the MultiScaleImage (so that the map could be followed on foot) and 2) croping the MultiScaleImage (in case someone wants to export out a portion of it)? I've read all the literature I could, but patterns and their implementations are new to me.
