why?
in regards to their timeline the blog is lame and lacks any insightful information.
actually if your looking for information reguarding their dev time.. the only thing i have found to be useful is to go to www.twitter.com/socialthing and read the responses that have been posted to other questions about development.
this one in particular has been helpful..
http://twitter.com/socialthing/status...
but again no estimate of when it will happen.

Matt Galligan replied on April 19, 2008 18:09 to the question "mobile versions and fluid supported?" in SocialThing:
We'll be adding another type of version of the app that will hopefully be able to make it a bit smaller. We're also taking out the very large min-width here soon. It will, however, be capped at 760px. This is as small as we can go without affecting certain things...and here's why:
For us to organize photos well in the Lifestream, they must be done in a table view, which means that there's a specific width that we have to have that table at, which happens to be just about 500px.
Then, on our (upcoming) profile view, we've got a side bar that is about 180px. If you combine viewing a photoset and side bar at the same time, we've got an automatic minimum width or the design starts breaking. Add in some of the spacing, avatars and such and we get to about 760px which was the smallest I could make it. We might explore other avenues in the future, but for now, this is what we've decided upon...hope it works for you...

iphone version has limited featureset.. which is probably why he is going with the full version.. at least thats my guess..
so this doesnt solve your problem completely... but. install Stylish or GreaseMOnkey for FireFox. then overwrite that min-width attribute to make things a bit more flexible... this wont carry over into your FluidApp but at least you can have a socialthing.com window open in a smaller for factor.

Matt Galligan replied on April 07, 2008 15:20 to the question "Features dissappearing after contact merger." in SocialThing:
Yeah, definitely know this is an issue...we'll see if we can't get a fix in for it soon. The issue with this is choosing which service to reply to, mainly because if a Pownce and Twitter get combined, we have to make that choice.
We've been actively working on a new interface that solves this, but it's a much more involved process. We'll see if we can't get something simple in there soon...

Wade Simmons' reply to "disappearing services" was just promoted to the most useful! veryMickey and 2 other people think it's one of the best replies.
Hey guys, sorry for the confusion. Check out our recent blog post here: http://blog.socialthing.com/2008/03/1...
We are experiencing a large growth in traffic, and the way we were grabbing data for some of the services was not scaling well. We hope to add these services back in soon (and work on a way to make it more clear to the user what is happening).

veryMickey asked a question in SocialThing on April 04, 2008 21:22:
Features dissappearing after contact merger.So.. i might just be looking in the wrong place but after i merge contacts i lose some of the features/abilities that i had when they were separate entries.
For example.
John Doe Tweet - "This is my update!! "
John Doe Facebook Status- "This is my update!! "
Once these two entries are combined, i lose the ability to reply to the tweet.
Any suggestions?
