Vimeo, FLV, MP3, imeem, or MetaCafe URL.

I see that some file/video sharing sites are listed, but what's with FLV and MP3? You can't just paste an flv file here and have it play.

My university has developed it's own "youTube"-like application, which formats video into progressive download or streaming, and creates both a url and an embed code. However I couldn't get either of these to work with Dipity's Video url field, so that it plays in the timeline (not just a link to the video, which does work). Any thoughts?

Thanks. This answers the question. A timeline must be public. Do you have any plans to allow restrictions, ie...I want to have a non-public timeline, but I want to invite only a few individuals to view it. – Vicki, on October 14, 2009 17:19
