did you restart the server after adding Custom Event Writer? If the table was not created in your MS SQL database, please check your linkserver.log for errors or send it to aggregate(-a-t-)tibbo.com so that we can analyze it.

Hi chad,

use the sqljdbc4.jar driver file instead of sqljdbc.jar. This file is included in the latest SQL Server JDBC Driver 2.0 distribution available at MS's website.

This is actually an outdated docs problem, we'll update the manual.
