Matt, I have an iPod Touch (2nd generation) and I am using a 2.5-3.0 Mbps Wi-Fi to connect to Public Radio Tuner. The problem exists on all radio streams, but it is worse on my favorite radio station KKJZ 88.1 (Long Beach). This particular problem is also worse with the new version as the stream doesn't even last 5 minutes. Previously, it would go from 30 minutes to about an hour. The Wi-Fi is uninterrupted as I don't have this problem with iHeart Radio and/or using the Internet on my computer. – Viken, on May 08, 2009 15:21

Hi Helena, I love this app too as it delivers most of my favorite radio stations. My frustration goes beyond the inability to use the Public Radio Tuner. I purchased my iPod Touch ($380) primarily for this app. Had I known it was going to be a problem, I would have returned it within the allowed grace period. Now, my iPod just sits in a drawer.

Just as I was posting the above, the following message appeared on the screen:
Playback Error: Audio stream bandwidth too great for network. Please try another stream. Once you click "OK" nothing changes and the music doesn't restart.

I just downloaded the new version of the tuner today and this problem continues. I deleted and re-installed the application, but nothing changed. This doesn't happen with other radio applications.
