A comment on the problem "conflict with keyboard program Shapewriter" in Dale Lane:
Dale,
No, I don't have any more details. That is what they said in one of their forums. The problem is not with bLADE Wiki, since that works, but with Shapewriter - since that doesn't work. I was just hoping to get some info that would help in getting Shapewriter to work. Unfortunately they have rotten tech support - usually posts to their forums remain unanswered. And this is for paid software! – Vilis Nams, on July 28, 2009 13:12

conflict with keyboard program ShapewriterbLADE Wiki does not work with a keyboard replacement called Shapewriter. Or to be more correct, Shapewriter does not work with bLADE Wiki. Apparently
"ShapeWriter has difficulty with any applications that have custom user interfaces. We need the system's help to be able to read the text around the caret and very often this is difficult if the application does not use the standard Windows Mobile UI." (from forums)
Is this the case with bLADE Wiki - do you have a custom interface for editing?
Thanks, Vilis

A comment on the problem "Problems with NoteStudio conversion plugin" in Dale Lane:
That's OK. I ended up copying-and-pasting. It wasn't that bad. I set up some Windows macros to make it faster.

What part of the style sheet defines styles for bullets?I would like to change some of the spacings in the bullet points, but cannot figure out what part of the style defines them?

Problems with NoteStudio conversion pluginI am converting from NoteStudio. That program worked wonderfully, but it is not supported anymore. bLADE Wiki seems like a great alternative.
In NoteStudio, I ran the plugin 'Rename Pages for bLADWWiki Compatability' - it worked.
But then I ran the plugin 'Export all books to WM5' and it gave me an error:
"Plugin 'Export all books to WM5' failed with an unspecified error".
Any suggestions for what I can try?
Thanks, Vilis Nams

Success!!
I had installed Framework 3.5, and blade still didn't work. But then I discovered a part of a Compact Framework 3.5 powertoy, called NetConfiguration. You can get just that part from the following:
http://www.1800pocketpc.com/fuc-frequ...
Download:
netcfcfg.cab
run on your WM.
Then run the program it installed, called.Net Configuration.
With this you can set which version of Net Framework each application will use - so, I set blake to use Net Framework 3.5.
A happier,
Vilis Nams

Alas I tried that also with my Pocket PC, and still no luck. – Vilis Nams, on July 03, 2009 14:59

I am using a MioP550. Actually, although this is a problem in installing bLADE Wiki, it is not unique to it. I have the same error when installing some other programs. Once I get it solved with any of those programs I'm sure all will work. – Vilis Nams, on July 03, 2009 14:57
