Unfortunately, such syntax is not currently possible with IWS.

rather than the tedious

That doesn't help, and I was thinking of marking one of them done, seeing I can't make the town hall today, but I won't do it. Hmmm.

So, a big "NO" to the period at the end of each line. I tried the following (in response to a digest):

u #9 @done.
u #24 @done.
u #25 @done.

The result was Sandy did mark them @done, but also changed the titles of the three items to just a period.

Have you tried the period yet? I didn't need a blank line. The period and "new" line make it a paragraph.
I think the Sandy help is too brief. More explanation and examples are needed.

Well, I wouldn't say its flawed, because it is good, and I learned from it, however things sometimes didn't make sense.

To be fair, I';ve read the whole documentation book. It did not specifically say to put a blank line. It may have shown it, but for a visually impaired person, that doesn't necessarily help when using a reader that reads to them via text to speech. However, it does have a say blank option, but it isn't usually used for web reading. But I did read every help page before starting with Sandy.

To be fair to Sandy, now that I look hard at the documentation, all the examples do indeed show a blank line between commands. I assumed it was just for readability, but apparently it's significant.

Also under "Sandy Shorthand" I see "As long as you place each [command] in its own paragraph..." - apparently "own paragraph" means a blank line.

I haven't tried the suggestion yet from vnewq regarding periods.
