It would really be nice if there was an option in Photosynth to set a directory that the Photosynthing is done in - that way one is not restricted to putting all the activitiy and space on one's system disk!

Control over where the temporary synth files are stored...
It would be great if you could change the directory in which the photos are initially synthed, my system drive, for example, doesn't have a lot of extra space for big synths, just enough for it to run a normal page file....
