Well i made it using another method. I installed alltray package

installation:
1- sudo aptitude install alltray
2-Apps>Accesories>alltray
3- click on songbird windows
thats all :D

PS: sys tray icon dont have controls buttons, but al least its something

@1288893 Doesn't worked to me. Songbird v1.2 Ubuntu 9.10 64 bits.

Songbird doesn't find install script on xpi file
