Sorry, I was wrong - it is possible to switch the client to English, but the result is the same: Hrm. I couldn't find this anywhere. Might you already have deleted it?
I am still thinking that it should be possible to enable email update / forget using the unique ID, like: forget http://iwantsandy.com/1234567
I also understand that there was a similar issue with the blackberry. Perhaps that solution could be of any help?

update / forget problems via email - no help receivedI asked this question a couple of weeks ago: http://getsatisfaction.com/iwantsandy...
and was told that the problem would be passed to Rael.
I also informed Sandy'y helpers via email but besides the automatically generated answer actually nothing happened yet.
Is there anything else to do in order to get an answer?
Thanks in advance!

That doesn't sound too hopeful..
Anyway . thanks a lot for your efforts to help me
Maybe Rael finds a way to enable the "ID Number" based update via email if he cannot get Sandy to understand my other update requests....
I was just told that it might be a matter of the MIME encoding my email client does and / or the utf-8 format. As far as I know I cannot change that...

That is what I got:

That doesn't seem to be the problem. My reply is on top, the original message at the bottom...
I was referring to this answer from kevin1:
"There needs to be some identifier in order to tell Sandy which item you want to update.
A) identify the item by its ID number. (aka http://iwantsandy.com/1234567 )
B) identify the item by a relative ID number.
(i.e. be in a "conversation" with Sandy about an item and then update it.
When you say "update #1" the #1 is relative to the conversation.)
C) identify the item by name.
A) and B) work now. There are a lot of problems with C)."
The update with relative ID number is my problem. Maybe A) could be a workaround for my problem. But: How does A) work?
The thread is

I sent the update request via email. Yes, I am using the "#1" syntax. Asking Sandy to remember something works fine. It is just the problem with the answer, which is the same when I reply to a single reminder with "update @done"
I just read in another thread that it is possible to update by using the unique item ID. What is the syntax for this update procedure?

Update problemsUpdating tasks from my desktop email client works perfectly well, but answering a mail from my mobile in order to update a task always results in the same answer from Sandy: She can't find the task to update.
Is there any other way to update a task by email without using the "answer"-function?
