Thunderbird automatically sends emails during composing. if I leave the compose message window open and switch to another application, after several minutes I find that Thunderbird is in the process of trying to send my message.

How can I stop Thunderbird autosending unfinished emails?

I'm running Thunderbird ver 2.0.0.21 on XP SP3
