A comment on the problem "Sprint customers in the US not receiving sms from 40404 (Nov 2008)" in Twitter:
My phone started receiving tweets again this afternoon. I didn't do anything, they just started coming through. To whoever fixed this, thank you very very much! – VSC, on December 17, 2008 02:12-

I have the same issue. I posted an issue about it. My username is VSC, my phone is Sprint, the phone is verified, I deleted and re-verified it, and while I never received a twitter message on my phone, apparently the verification process worked. I can update my account via SMS, but I receive no updates, even when I send ON and GET requests. The other phone on my family plan (user name Aack) is getting messages just fine, so the issue does not appear to be Sprint. We are both using the 40404 number. – VSC, on November 26, 2008 00:56 -

I did everything she recommended, and still receive Twitter updates. She then said to "file a support request". I have no idea if this qualifies, as nothing on this site is actually labeled "support request".
I am frustrated with Twitter, and so far this customer service site has been difficult to use, and come across as non-responsive to this problem. Please fix my Twitter update problem so I can go away and we don't have to deal with each other anymore. -
