Hi,
Sorry I missed this. The Javascript is limited by approximately the length of a "GET" request (the reasons have to do with how their code is embedded in the plugin image in editing mode)--this length is about 1024 characters, but after escapes done for URL encoding, it's just slightly less than that. For long pieces of code, I would suggest uploading a file to your wiki with the code (make sure the extension is NOT .js since it might set our spam filters off), and then linking to it that way:
<script type="text/javascript" src="/f/SomeScriptiUploaded"></script>

Haha! I hate IE7...Anyway, it works with sidebar and recentactivity because those guys follow the colon with non-hexadecimal characters, but since "folders" starts with an "f', which is hexadecimal, IE7 gets all mixed up no matter how you try to format it. So for folders:
#module\3a\66olders {display:none; }
I've shown all the modules here:

Vu Nguyen replied on July 08, 2008 00:31 to the question "Can you integrate a Intranet DB query into a PBWiki page?" in PBwiki:
Is the ultimate purpose to have intranet materials available on the wiki as well? Using the API, you can have any information posted to your wiki as long as it first converted the information into html format.
Clif's link is for the 1.0 API. If you are using PBwiki 2.0, go to Settings -> API for information on the PBwiki 2.0 API. In either case, it sounds like you want to do something like set up a cron job and update a wiki page periodically based on a specific database query.
Like Clif said, contact us at support if you have more specific questions or needs. Thanks!

.htm is one of the extensions used for webpages. We have restrictions on uploading .htm files to your wiki because of aggressive tactics by some spammers to use the free space in the wiki as a repository of spam webpages. You can try renaming the extension to something safer, such as .txt, and then renaming it once it's uploaded.

Hi,
In Excel, you can try creating a web query and selecting the table from your wiki page. This article tells you how: http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/m...
Alternately, if you are running Firefox, TableTools is a pretty awesome extension that allows you to copy any table as tab-delimited text--perfect for Excel. It also has its own sorting and filtering functions, which are kinda neat for use on the web as a whole.
Best,
Vu

There are a few of us in the queue right now I believe, so chances are you'll get a response in a few hours, but I would suggest giving us at least 24 hours. Let me know here if we missed you somehow though. Thanks! – Vu Nguyen, on June 23, 2008 20:29
