Went thru your suggestion. Uninstalled the Vivaty Player. Cleared the cache in IE7. Went to Facebook and follwed the prompts to install the player. Verified that there is only 1 version of the Vivaty player installed. No change. Nice music, no image.

Restarted Vista. One never knows. No change.

Not a solution ;)

Hi Wangxiang,
ok, another thing we can try: Uninstall the Vivaty Player from Control Panel/Programs, clear your cache in Internet Explorer, and go to apps.facebook.com/vivatybeta again. Follow the prompts to re-install the player. Make sure you don't have 2 versions of the Vivaty Player when you go to Control Panel/Programs. hopefully this will do it. thx for your patience.

I have tried a couple of YouTube videos, and Dailymotion as well. None is working : I get sound but no image (blank screen), in every case.

hi everyone (and wangxiang)- just wanted to close this topic off in case others have similar issues. we went back and forth off-line and determined that wangxiang's problems were being caused by having French language and regional settings. When he re-set these settings to English, the problem (uh magically?) went away. we hope to support more language/regional settings in coming months. thanks!

hi wangxiang, sorry to hear it's still not working for you. would you mind running a "dxdiag" so we can also see what type of video card you're on? to do this on Vista, you click on the Start menu, then type in "dxdiag" in the search box that comes up (without the quotes). please save the information locally and send it to us at beta@vivaty.com. we'll try to figure out what's going on. we really want you to try Vivaty! thanks...

Vivaty doesn’t work for me. The Vivaty scene is incompletely loaded on the Facebook page and remains frozen. I use Vista, IE7 and most recent updates.

Just to clarify your question. Are you having difficulty with your television screens inside your Vivaty Scene? Or are you unable to get the Vivaty Scene to load at all?

If the latter, can you please tell us which browser version and OS you're using?

Hey - we're aware of an issue specific to videos and we're checking it out and hope to have it resolved shortly. thanks for the report.
