That clears it up. Might be helpful to preface the Blogger instructions with a blurb about this. Might also help if I weren't trying to do this with a prolonged sleep deficit.
Thanks! – WankelRotaryEngine, on November 14, 2008 17:09

Thanks for the reply Dave.
I have emailed the developer - hopefully he'll get back to me.
Regarding the sidebar aspect, according to the Blogger instructions from Widgetbox, my understanding was that there was a bit of code (presummably not visible on the page) that needed to go into the sidebar, as a part of your template. Once that was installed, you would use a separate script (the "Blogger post" version) that would go into an individual post.
Thus, my understanding was that there needed to be 2 parts - the part in the sidebar and the part in the individual post(s).
FYI, I updated Flash, Java, and anything else I could find and it still doesn't appear correctly in IE7.
Any further suggestions? – WankelRotaryEngine, on November 14, 2008 16:38
WankelRotaryEngine asked a question in Widgetbox on November 14, 2008 04:32:
Google Audio Widget not displaying correctly in Internet ExplorerI'm trying to use the Google Audio Widget (http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/mp3) on my blog. It looks fine when I view the pages using Firefox, but not in Internet Explorer (7). Is there a plug-in I need to update? I just updated the Flash player for IE, and that gets me closer, but the right side of the widget still doesn't display correctly.
The main concern I have is that I get an error for the page (object missing) which reveals the URL of the original audio file, something I'd prefer not be available to the reader.
I also have not been able to install the html panel for Blogger. The code that Widgetbox gives me for the blogger set-up is the same as for the actual post, so any html panel I add to the sidebar ends up just being another copy of the widget I want to include in the post.
I'm running Windows XP, not Vista, but I noticed the problem on a Vista machine today.
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance,
WRE
