Wayne Smallman reported a problem in Delicious Monster on October 04, 2009 20:47:
Scanning bar codes correctly, but not gathering product dataAs of Saturday (yesterday), Delicious Library stopped being able to retrieve data for scanned items.
It's scanning bar codes correctly, but not able to gather any product data, not even if I type in the bar code manually.
I'm on 1.6.3 (v5944) and have been for some time. I have no way of accounting for this behavior, as it's worked perfectly all of the time I've owned it.
Any ideas?

HootSuite + CoTweet would make a sweet Twitter CRM mashupNow we can manage and sort our followers into neat little groups, the next thing I'd like to see is integration with CoTweet. By all accounts, there are more CRM tools to come, and since Twitter is now a legitimate business tool, HootSuite + CoTweet would make a sweet mashup...

Ow.ly to swoop in on Tr.im remains? Now that Tr.im is a goner, why don't you guys buy up what's left and roll their data into Ow.ly? There's a lot of data in those URLs, so it's a shame to let them all waste away...

Adding a Notes tab / sectionWhile this isn't a major problem, it's a little irritating. Once I make a note on someone, there doesn't appear to be a way of finding that note, aside from clicking on the follower.
Surely a Notes tab / section would help?
I've since assigned those people to myself, so they appear under the Follow Up section, but it just seems a little awkward to work that way.

Linking followers by affiliationsOK, at the request of a reply from your Support crew (KS), here's the idea while it's still fresh.
I use a CRM application for the Mac called Daylite. One of the most interesting features is being able to link resources together (like people to companies, companies to tasks, tasks to projects).
Also, you can link one person to another, by defining an affiliation, such as whether one person is the client of another, or a relative, works for, is a friend of etc.
Once you've created a mesh of associations, you begin to get a feel for your network in a way that Twitter alone simply can't offer.
Let's not forget, any good CRM tool has to account for company politics, and hierarchy is an essential aspect of that.
To be honest, this is the kind of thing I thought CoTweet would offer.
A comment on the problem "Can no longer sign into Dashboard" in HootSuite:
Just tried and it didn't make any difference. I still can't sign in.
So, just out of curiosity, I changed the email address and I'm now in. Now, both Firefox and Keychain had a totally different email address stored to what HootSuite accepted, even though they had the same password.
Odd... – Wayne Smallman, on July 26, 2009 08:44
A comment on the problem "Can no longer sign into Dashboard" in HootSuite:
As I explained in the opening message, my username and password aren't being entered incorrectly (I use Apple's Keychain to store all such details). HootSuite is rejecting them. So this is a problem with HootSuite and not me or my Mac. – Wayne Smallman, on July 26, 2009 08:01

Can no longer sign into DashboardI just tried signing into the Dashboard and the URL changed to: old.hootsuite.com
My username and password were empty (they're normally automatically filled out by Firefox), and when I entered them manually, I was told that the details are wrong.
Any idea what's wrong with HootSuite?

Not satisfied with Get Satisfaction's sign-in systemWhy am I having to reset my password so often when I visit the website? Even thought Firefox is saving the password, your website is refusing to accept it when I sign back in.

HootSuite + TweetMeme mashup requiredHootSuite needs to integrate TweetMeme functionality, so we can see total number of re-Tweets as well as total number of clicks.
The reason I single out TweetMeme is because it's probably the most common Tweet tracker out there, so it makes sense from that point of view at least.

URL shortening tool not workingThe URL shortening tool hasn't been working properly for days now. Any reason for this?
A comment on the problem "Stats Not Working" in HootSuite:
Right now, they all appear to be working fine. But then later on, they might give errors.
More often than not, the only Twitter account that appears to generate statistics without error is the SMMT account, while Octane and BlahBlahTech won't.
It's as well to just check periodically. In the time I encounter an error and then you get around to checking, the error will be gone .. and then back again later.
It's really intermittent and very frustrating. – Wayne Smallman, on April 21, 2009 10:12

Please be aware, the graphic supplied is to illustrate the error I get. I'm quite aware that the shortened URL in the graphic isn't one generated by HootSuite itself. – Wayne Smallman, on April 19, 2009 09:58

I sign into my account, which takes me to the Dashboard.
I then click on the "View tweet stats" button, in the top right of each tweet.
There's a couple of progress bars and then I get the following message:

I get this message for almost every Tweet with a URL, even though I know for a fact I've had traffic for that Tweet, because I can see the visits coming through in real time via Clicky.

Shaun, I've had this problem since the first day I signed up with HootSuite. I've just had the same thing again for the umpteenth time and decided to post a complaint here.
The fact is, the statistics are down / unavailable more than they're up and working. I've heard the same thing from other people using HootSuite.
This needs fixing... – Wayne Smallman, on April 16, 2009 14:40-

I'm glad to report the button is now working on both my social media blog and on a clients PR blog, too.
Finally!
