I think this is possible through the MetaWeblogAPI interface. However, people would really appreciate some documentation, or at least some pointers. I haven't found anyone who's done it yet.

The whole "micro-blogging/status/etc." distinctions in Ping.fm are a bit confusing.

Thanks for that and the Expression Engine integration, BTW. EE is world-class and deserves attention from apps like this.

I yanked my Twitter app from Facebook, although I still use Ping to update both. People were complaining about my techy tweets, so I use Ping to update all services (general audience) and then Twitter itself for twitter-only updates. I need to figure out how the status pull-down works...
