I had some random guy follow me, and his last tweet contained a tinyurl that redirected to a twitter url that made me follow some random guy that was selling something. I blocked them all, so I can't tell you what their twitter IDs were. It was pretty sleazy, though.

I really don't think that they want you to follow everybody.

I can talk to twitter@twitter.com just fine, So it responds when I track something. But tweets for tracked items are sporadic (it came up for a couple of minutes about an hour ago, and then stopped again). And, tweets from people I'm following are getting dropped on the floor.

Using twitter via GTalk over iChat. I can talk to twitter@twitter.com, but tweets are not being relayed over IM.

It worked this morning, but what I'm seeing now definitely looks like yesterday and the day before.

Wow. I think that you guys are having a tough week. Things have been down more than up, it seems. Good luck fixing it.

And, maybe be a little more forthcoming on the problem descriptions on the blog. That last post ("repopulate the caching service") doesn't tell users what to expect. It would be nice to know what's being done, and when will it be fixed.

If this worked like "track", it would be great. "block" lists all the blocked users, "block <user>" blocks a user, "unblock <user>" unblocks a user, and "unblock all" removes all the blocks. How nice that would be.

Then, if tracks respected blocks, we'd be all set.</user></user>
