I certainly have no plans to leave Tumblr, yet I can see how this would be an incredible relief to people potentially wanting to join but worried about their data integrity and vendor lock-in.

iPhone Mail - Unread badge from all folders

There is a setting in OS X's Mail.app (General -> Dock unread count -> All Mailboxes) that shows a badge for all unread messages in all mailboxes on the dock.

I use IMAP and Google mail for my iPhone mail, but it only shows unread mail from the inbox. Is there any setting like the one in Mail.app I can change to fix this?

Dashboard posts in chronological order?

When reading posts on the dashboard, if you have not visited in a while there are many new updates but the only way to read them is reverse chronological order, and the only way to know if you've read them all is if you come to one you remember. This leads to posts getting lost and never read.

Maybe Tumblr isn't supposed to be like a feed reader, it is supposed to just be 'what is happening now' but this makes it very difficult to read posts and keep track of conversations and reblogs.

Long story short: are there any plans to have 'read' items checked off as you go (Google Reader style) and the ability to view unread posts in chronological order?

I believe this would make my Tumblr experience a lot better!!
