Derick -
I think I've found the problem, it had to do with an explicit height that IE was getting.
IE problems are an occupational hazard, which is why we don't support IE6 for the application. But we want IE6 users to be able to view releases.
Take a look and see if what I have done fixes things for you.

Captions functionality was down for an upgrade for about an hour and a half yesterday, but is up and functioning. I've tried in Safari, Firefox and IE7.
If the captions entry screen is not in a popup, but rather in the page, please refresh, that could explain your problem. There should be a link titled, "Add/Edit Photo/Video Captions" in the left column, and no text entry field if you have the newest page.

Please let me know if you continue to have issues with the captions, I'll try to help further.

I'm unable to replicate this problem, but my guess is that it is a localized problem to your network. Usually a "connection error" indicates a network problem between you/your browser and the server, this can be because of latency caused by a slow internet connection.
Could you let me know which browser and operating system you are using and what the error you are getting says?
I'd be glad to try to track this down for you.

If you click on "My Account" in the top right, under your name, then click on the "Brands" tab, you'll see your brands listed. Click the "edit" link for that brand.
Here, you can edit your brand, its boilerplate, etc. Right below the boilerplate copy is the category list. Choose the appropriate category, then click on the orange "update" button to the bottom right.
