I took Jery's suggestion and went ahead with the Etsy store! Search there for Plurk Buddies and you'll find the pieces. :-)

That is actually an excellent idea. Plurk actually gave me the go-ahead about a week ago, but I haven't had time to continue (lots of work). I've been thinking about how to get an ecommerce site up quickly, but Etsy is a great alternative - I'll look into it!

why don't you open a store on etsy.com? i'm sure plurkers will drive traffic to your store. :)

if plurk.com complains about using their buddies you can stop

I also love the products and wish you luck with them. But doing your advertising in this forum is highly inappropriate, in my opinion. Trying to disguise that it's an advert by framing it in the form of a question only makes it worse, in my opinion. Let the flames begin.

This still seems to be a problem. I know it's on the list of things to be fixed, and I'm sure that it's considered a minor issue, but visible issues like this can tend to damage the image of a company (or service) if they happen over a prolonged period of time.

Overall, I'm less concerned about the bug itself and more concerned about Pownce's image.

This problem is only partially fixed. While the reply-to field now shows noreply@plurk.com a view of the extended headers still shows the email address of the requester.

This problem is now solved (the changes need to propagate through the system and new friendship requests include "noreply@plurk.com" in reply-to field).
