Hi, I have had not waking from sleep issues on both my macbook pro and iMac. I made a few posts on my blog you might like to look at:
http://www.davidjmoore.com/2008/08/28...
http://www.davidjmoore.com/2008/09/10...
and finally a summary post on all the other issue I am having or have had this yeah.

I hope you find the post informative even if they only show that we share the same problem :)

So far all is good: on my benchmarks: so, slightly faster in raw memory access, but slightly slower in streaming. Overall the same. The only problem I've encountered is that the system reports that the installed RAM as being PC2-3200S-2-6-6 (a non-existent configuration for DDR2 SODIMM RAM) instead of PC2-5300-4-4-4-, so I guess I'm paying a performance penalty of 1/7 (that would be 12/14) in latency. Not an noticeable, and barely measurable, penalty.
To come back to Thor's problem, I'll let you all know whether I have any success. You can't prove a negative, but so far - early days - so good.
Anyone here remember the underrated capacitors on the original Apple Graphite Airport base stations?

Yup. That's my issue too. MacBook Pro circa Dec 2006. Are then new new MacBooks seeing this issue too? – daemonchild, on June 24, 2008 20:29

Well, I've just put my money where my mouth was and replaced my memory with two 1G PC2-5300 4-4-4-12 modules. We'll see. – outer, on June 24, 2008 20:18

There's also a known issue with connected Bluetooth devices when Leopard wakes from sleep. This usually happens to me if I've had my Mighty Mouse connected when I sleep my MBP, and then later wake it when the mouse is not present.
Turning off / disconnecting the mouse before going to sleep fixes the problem for me.

I have an Apple PowerBook G4...upgraded memory from 512 to 2G and then the laptop did not wake up....I have not determined what to do yet....it is definitely associated with memory in my instance....the 512 is as reliable as the sun....the 2G checks good in memory tests....it's a design issue and perhaps a software fix will solve it....resetting NVRam does nothing to help.-

I have recently used (tried to use) the Canon LIDE 60, 80, and 90 with Leopard. The 80 was next to impossible to work. I think it may be an older model. The 60 and 90 worked okay, but I don't like that they have different drivers. In my opinion, Canon has been sloppy with their scanners. I have not used any others and am not in the market for buying my own at the moment.

I've had this recently and don't know why. I randomly hit some buttons in frustration, and F7 (or fn-F7) told the Macbook pro to look for a monitor or another monitor and it woke up but thought it had another monitor plugged in. strange, but it woke/lit up. I had to restart the computer to have it not think there was still another monitor (the brightness controls had no effect in this confused state). I have had it happen twice with the second time using this solution as a quick fix.
