Wegguy replied on July 16, 2009 11:14 to the problem "Unable to disable any command using check box" in Mozilla:
I have now experienced the checkboxes not working and working both in one browser session.
They did not work for me initially, but after some time (filled with editing commands in the editor as well as subscribing to a new feed, and using Ubiquity) the checkboxes are working now.
Didn't find any Ubiquity related errors in the console.-

A comment on the idea "Make Ubiquity the Address Bar" in Mozilla:
Ctrl+D adds the page to bookmarks for me (FF3.1 / WinXP). Alt+D focuses locationbar for me (yes, both in IE and FF).
And I wasn't replying to the main topic but merely commenting on Remorak's reply, hence the comment instead of reply. An important part of his point seemed to be not having to touch mouse to work with locationbar/awesomebar - which you already don't have to. – Wegguy, on January 30, 2009 18:06
A comment on the idea "Make Ubiquity the Address Bar" in Mozilla:
Don't know about hiding addressbar/awesomebar (doesn't sound too appealing to me), but I just want to make sure you know what Alt+D does (@ windows, might be different shortcut on Linux/Mac). – Wegguy, on January 30, 2009 16:58

Wegguy replied on January 15, 2009 06:57 to the question "Ubiquity now only comes with 4 commands?" in Mozilla:
They removed most of the commands and put them into separate feeds so they can update it more easily. These feeds you should be auto-subscribed to upon installing Ubiquity, however if you weren't -

That sounds pretty much like a conflict with another key shortcut on your computer... – Wegguy, on January 15, 2009 06:50

Wegguy replied on December 12, 2008 06:42 to the question "How do I display a jQuery.get() result in a new browser window?" in Mozilla:
As ShawTim mentioned, I'd go with opening a tab then doing document.write() on it.
I'm not sure how you open an empty tab with ubiquity (only did that with user script for Fire Gestures extension), this site might be helpful to you: https://developer.mozilla.org/En/FUEL
The pseudo-code would look sometihng like
var newtab = Application.activeWindow.addTab();
newtab.document.write(jQueryResponse);

ubiquity.mozilla.com: missing page titleJust noticed the title seems missing on ubiquity.mozilla.com website. Sorry if this is wrong place to point it out...

I haven't noticed but it's well possible I closed it - my fault then.
Edit:
@fern and andrew once more - thanks for the tips!
Didn't know about ubiquity.mozilla.com at all. As for news on about:ubiquity, it looks more like Hg commit log to me. I was reading it before but now with all the activity around 0.1.3 I kinda got lost in there and stopped trying to follow it :) – Wegguy, on December 08, 2008 12:51
