New Password Causes TONS of Issues

I changed my password but 3rd party apps can not get authenticated using the new pw. I think my account was locked out cause 3rd party apps have been trying to log in since the change, thus causing the too many repeated attempts at logging in w/ a bad password.

When a password is changed, how long does it take before it propagates to all the slave DB servers?

A super user in your area would need to rename that venue to "Whole Foods - Area" to stop that from happening in your area. We had a similar incident in Atlanta where someone just named a location "Caribou Coffee" w/o more info. – Wei Yang, on October 18, 2009 17:28

In the iPhone app on the Places screen, there is a Search function on the top left corner that allows you to search for places by keywords instead of only searching via trying to check-in. This has come in handy a few times when I wasn't sure of the venue name that's in the system. – Wei Yang, on October 18, 2009 17:27

Our site is crawled by search engines on a daily basis and our results are often cached on the web. However, we will make a note of this to see what changes we can make for our upcoming version 3 release.

My install is normal. I don't think it uses gigs of memory on my computer but it's still slow to send posts at times. I'm running 10.5.7.

Why does Tweetie for Mac progressively suck the longer you leave it on? Posting a new tweet takes like 5 minutes... pointless delay loops? When I turn it off and back on it will post a tweet instantly but if I leave it on for hours, it'll take LOOOOOOONG time to post a new tweet.
