Are you using the WikiStyle/Classic editor or the Point&Click Editor? If you highlight text, click the Bold button, and you see ** Your Text ** , then you are using the WikiStyle Editor; on the other hand, if you see Your Text, then you are using the Point&Click Editor. It looks like barcamp users are using a mix of both editors, but if you want to switch from one editor to the other, you can click the link in the upper right of your editor window.
Tim's code will work if you are using the WikiStyle/Classic Editor. If you are using the other editor, first insert your image, then, right click on it:
Left-click on the context link and a new window should pop up. If you go to the "Link" tab, you'll see:
Insert your address and away you go! -

Tim - thank you too for your reply - I do appreciate the help however I am not an HTML savvy person, so I don't know how to use the code you posted. I have tried several formats: inserting the button code and the link in between > < and other formats, with no luck. I am working on editing a BarCamp wiki page if that is helpful.

KP - Thank you for the reply - however it did not work. I am in the BarCamp Wiki and when I click on the picture there is no option for insert/edit link. Any other ideas? -

I was able to use insert/edit link to do this. Just click on the picture then click on the insert/edit link and enter the URL. -
