I have already put in two help requests regarding different aspects of this problem. There is still no help. All I get is more requests to log more help requests. Has anyone gotten any word from Twitter as to why our accounts are disappearing? – whperry3, on June 05, 2008 02:46

My account disappeared too
My account disappeared too. I created a new account using the same username. I then went to www.twitter.com/account/deleted to see about restoring my previous account. Instead twitter started deleting the new account I just set up. My SMS also stopped working 3 days ago. Does anyone know why this is happening and how to get my old account restored?
