At 320x240 my Omnia i910 takes pretty awesome video with its native software, and with previous versions of Qik. At 320x240 with version 4.21 the video is pixilated and washed out. Shoot the same video, using the Omnia's native software, and it looks great.

A comment on the question "Samsung Omnia will not work with QIK" in Qik:

This doesn't work on the Omnia, with the GPS update, either. The software will start, and it looks like it's gonna work, but it doesn't record and it doesn't send. Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but as the Alpha has a brand new GUI, maybe Qik should have the common sense to provide some instructions. – whthawk, on August 17, 2009 16:18

My Omnia i910 Won't post to Facebook (even though I have a Facebook account linked to Qik and can post to it using the regular version of the software), and it won't post video to my Qik account. I can see that it's opening an internet connection, and there's data transmitted, but even after an hour of waiting for a 10 second video, nothing is posted. – whthawk, on July 01, 2009 19:16

Streaming is very slow with my Omnia and the Verizon EVDO. Rev. A network, too. I realize there's an inherent long latency with EVDO, but this is WAY too slow. I stream video over EVDO from other software, and it's much quicker.
