I'm typically pretty sensitive to this kind of thing...but I think of her more like Jeeves from the old AskJeeves.com. I never had a problem that he was some kind of snobby, uptight butler. Still, it might be cool to toggle her gender--seems like they have to be really sensitive to the brand they're creating though.

I think I've figured out what causes this.

If I type "r to go to store @todo"
somehow that "to" makes it be tomorrow at 7am.

If I type "r go to store @todo"
somehow that understands it's a todo with no day or time!

I think this should be fixed, but at least now, it won't get me anymore.

I said that wrong. I get the highest number of failures when I use "r" and it works most often when I use "remember".

But, sometimes "r" works, so.. go figure. Is this merely a problem of ambiguous text?

I've also had some problems with that.

It was currently 7:15 pm. This sets a reminder for tomorrow morning at 7:00 am. I tried it several different ways. It seems Sandy doesn't understand "a half hour". When I tried 30 minutes it worked properly.

My guess is that Sandy is configured to set a reminder at 7 am when it can't understand what you're trying to do.

I've been experimenting using the internal scheduling (not email, not twitter) and have found that I get the highest number of failures when I use the word remember instead of r. I have also found that the same text sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. I'd love to have some sort of confirmation from someone on the team.

You can "hide" anything date- or time-like from Sandy by enclosing that text in quotation marks, as in:

Some of my todo's come in as appointments for tomorrow at 7:00 am. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Here are three examples (sent from twitter)

r to work on David's house site. Information is on gdocs in david folder. @todo

Context: r to schedule Robert Johnson's ticket @todo

gives me a strange day spanning appointment. How do I exclude text from being parsed?

If you could automatically tag items that come in via the feed, so that you could have them pre-sorted. Ie. i subscribe to a google calendar of my local park activities, i could have them tagged @park or @local or some such.

Even without this, it would be a great feature.

We've actually been working on a reworking of just those sorts of things in the web user-interface — look for them soon.

Currently, if I use the "new" button, I have to refresh the page to see the item. I'd like it to automatically do so, if the item is a new todo or an appointment for today. Similarly, when I mark a todo as done I'd like the corresponding "appointment" (if there was a date and time) to be marked done without having to refresh. In fact, when marking a todo done, I'd prefer to have it change to done, and then fade away, like forgetting it does.
