Direct connection between Google Spreadsheet and MapSpreadGoogle Spreadsheet provide a public URL to any published Spreadsheet. It would be great if Mapspread could understand the provided format because the editing possibilities are more sophisticated in Google Spreadsheets than in Mapspread so far. Also more people are familiar with the Google Spreadsheet UI and don't have to be involved in the map creating process but must be able to change the raw data.

Using GTweeny as a substitute for TweenLite.GTween just got a little sister called GTweeny. It's less that 3kb in size with a great performance. As ModestMaps only uses the tweening library on the TweenMap with some basic features, it could be a solid substitute for the TweenLite library.
However it's not yet clear if GTweeny will be released under the MIT license (as is GTween).

The source is now updated to the latest & greatest ModestMaps library version. The included Marker and Markes classes are still custom made and do not extend or use the provided overlay classes from the library. I'll adapt the code to these classes asap.

It seems the version I currently use for MM Construct is a bit out of date. It's the 1.0 beta release but it still has the Google Maps as a MapProvider included. I'll update to the latest stable version of ModestMaps by tomorrow.
Thanks very much for pointing out the issue with the license. I've added the notice to the official release post as well as the README file included in the download. Does this clearify the licensing policy of ModestMap in an sufficient manner? Please let me know if there's anything I should improve to satisfy the ModestMaps quality claims or copyright policies.

wiederkehr reported a problem in tarpipe on January 19, 2009 22:27:
Tumblr updates via Email aren't workingAfter several tries of posting to tumblr via Email I gave up. The email contents were correctly distributed to friendfeed, twitter & facebook. The tumblr updates failed always.
Because tumblr has different types of postings (note, quote, link, etc.) it would be grat to specify what type tarpipe should post my email.
Great product none the less, guys!

I used the version from modestmaps.com not the svn version. I've narrowed the field of the problem: The error occures when I commit my changes to GitHub.com where I store my repositories. Knowing this the problems seems even more obscure. I excluded .swf and .fla files from commiting but the error reappears.
Therefore I thinks it'f not a problem with the MM library. Thanks for the fast respond anyway – I'll report if I found the solution.
wiederkehr asked a question in Modest Maps on November 18, 2008 22:36:
Getting errors about "override public function" in TweenMap.asMy application was 100% functioning and then suddenly (after 2 days not working on it) I get the following error when starting the app, that an with "override" marked function must overwrite an existing function (translated from german). The error occurs in TweenMap.as on line 107, 309 and 323.
Any support would be much appreciated.
Benjamin
