Sharing the same dropbox folder when dualboot windows and linux?

I dual boot windows and Linux. I run dropbox with both OS. I would like to sync the exact same folders on the same hard disk whenever I'm in either one operating system.

Currently I'm keeping it separate (one dropbox location for linux and one dropbox location for windows) just to be on the safe side.

Would there be any complications if I was to use the same dropbox locations in both operating systems in the following scenarios:-

1. While still with a significant amount of files to sync, I shut down from 1 operating system and boot up into another, would dropbox continue the sync where I left off?
2. There are bound to be slight differences with system time of these 2 different systems, would this cause a problem?

ditto! And what about adding time when I'm making phonecalls or taking care of my physical bookkeeping? I like the notion of tracking without data entry, but an option to manually add data should be easy to add and would be of great value for a lot of users, and could be ignored by people who are not interested in using it.
