A comment on the idea "Sandy iPhone web app" in I want Sandy:

Bricoleur .... I believe we had similar interests in a charity about education and now regarding sandy and iPhone. Would be great to connect once again. ex VP for R2R – joshie, on August 20, 2008 10:28

I created a mock up and this runs a back end database that can store all the entries entered into the iPhone I posted this to another question about this and just discovered this post. This does not recreate the admin portion of the site. It is for quick and simple execution of tasks to Sandy. After all this is all about interacting by email.

This feature was added in a recent update. See http://getsatisfaction.com/iwantsandy...

You can now use a @reminder tag to tell Sandy when you want to be reminded. After the @reminder tag, put the date you want to be reminded. The date can be fixed (like June 20) or it can be relative to the date you want to remember. (use the word "before")

You can send a message to Sandy like this:
> Remind me that my father's birthday is on April 20th, @reminder three days before.

Not a solution but a bit of a help...
I've created a couple icons on my home page to link to frequently used Sandy pages (for example lists)...
In the grocery store I can simply hit the icon for Sandy Lists and will go right there without having to fiddle with home page first.... still not the same as native app... but a bit of an aid while waiting

I love the combination of Twinkler (for Twitter), Jott, Sandy and Google Calendar....
but would become a raving evangelist if there was a native app on iPhone to get my daily digest

I'd love this! But in the meantime Twitter and Sandy being my assts will have to do...making a note on the iphone and emailing it to sandy and having it tweet me later is a good work around...for now. As is tweeting Sandy a direct msg...

Useful, but I think this would have to be rolled into adding a visual user interface instead of the entirely text based option. My guess is that will happen, but when and whether its with sandy or a similar product that recognizes the need and swoops in to steal the market share is anyone's guess.

*n july 1 at 11:00

or something like that? or @n...

you could even require that it be a date instead of 3 days from now or that kind of thing.

I'm working on converting from RTM to Sandy (she is more fun). However, I'm always looking at my iPhone thinking I can find my ToDo list there. An app (very, very, very light) would be great.

has this functionality been added yet? One thing I'm doing is using sandy to remind me about a TV show that's coming up so that I can Tivo it. I can't tivo it until 2weeks before air time so I'd like to set a reminder for that show time then put a handy relative offset like 7 days before on it. thanks.
