A comment on the question "Where to upload show thumbnail image?" in blip.tv:

This doesn't work for me.
All I see is:
Replace thumbnail X Clear

for all my episodes!

I'm on a PC, FFMpegGUI is described as an audio encoder tool.
I don't see how I point to my .VOB file thats transformed to an AVI file.
What am I not understanding?
Any new tools since 5 months ago that you would recommend?

This must be a recent change because it did not use to do this or rarely happened, but now it happens so frequently I've been using Chrome where it never forces me to resend. I think Chrome asks a confirm then remembers it for the remainder of the session.

Could Flock as least place a prompt on that Confirm/Resend page to _not_ ask again? This is a show-stopper for me. I will try pure Firefox to get round this showstopper. This more than a mere inconvenience.

It occurs within Facebook when I'm playing a game-app called Lil Eco Racer.
I've enclosed a screen shot for you.

i hope this helps in ytacking down this annoying pop-up.

I'm frequently am receiving within Flock a Confirm popup stating that "To display the page, Flock must send information that will repeat any action (such as search or order confirmation) that was performed earlier." It then displays a RESEND button and a Cancel.button.

I wouild like to start my sessions so that Flock always resends without asking me over & over the question.

How do I do this?

i'm happy with this team's knowledge about good third-party software such as VLC media player.

I've been using FlaskMPEG to convert small VOB files to avi.
But now I have a much bigger VOB 1Gig file that I want to split into smaller framesize either avi or flash files to be uploaded to BlipTV. Which commercial products or freeware would you recommend?

I'm using DASHBOARD.
1) One the screen that says "Posts Viewed" and also has a date range. It shows 210 as the number
2) Summary sez 288 views. Ok, I go to the 'By Post' tab and it gives me a nifty lising of my shows with dated uploaded and a view number. It's total is 288 views. This agrees with the summary number given on another page.

But 288 & 210 are inconsistent.

Explain please.

Luv VLC .. it's now in my video toolkit.
I also use Media Player Classic - homecinema which puts out a gorgeous looking video but depending how the audio was rendered it fails to 'Snapshot' a frame.

how can i use a different thumnail then the one bliptv picked? i want to pick another frame from my avi file that's on my PC that i uploaded. is there a freebie software i can use to extract a jpeg from an avi file? or is there another way?
