Hey Meg,
You're right. It should be showing the same location all the way around. I was having this issue too and had it cleared once I reinstalled the latest version of Me.dium. You don't have to uninstall, just visit me.dium.com and grab the latest.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you (your mail got lost in my inbox over the weekend).
If that doesn't solve the issue, let me know and I'll scout around here for the fix for that bug.
Thanks, as always, for your input. We'd love to know what you think of the new sidebar. Always love the feedback.
Take care,
Brent

hmm, my icon is always showing me in the right place, but the middle bar doesn't always have me right. (by middle bar i mean the section below the map but above the listing of my online friends. i'm sure there's a better name for it.) right now it's telling me i'm at "constantcontact." my icon in the map says i'm at "getsatisfaction". i have no clue what constantcontact is. another name for getsatisfaction?
i've switched websites several times and it seems like the website listing next to my headshot lags far behind. sometimes. i only notice it erratically. (but maybe i'm only looking at it erratically?) the icon on the map is always right on.
maybe i'm just not understanding what's supposed to be showing up next to my headshot. ...

This morning I restarted my browser (Flock). The problem I reported seems to have gone away. me.dium is tracking me nicely now from page to page and tab to tab.
The other symptom, which I am remembering and won't try to recreate was apparently that the little symbol representing me didn't exist in the graphical part of the me.dium bar. I saw only friend symbols. Now my symbol is showing. I didn't report this yesterday evening because I thought no-me-symbol was the new intended behavior. Guess not.
In general I like the new version. I switched over to the "moss" theme. I enabled the Me.dium-Facebook application and now me.dium looks like the Flock people-bar that I was using so it's cool to have that info there in a familiar format.

My current active page not being updatedIn the new version the indicator of what site I am on is not changing as I move from tab to tab in Flock, open up new tabs, close some, etc. It has me listed as "login - facebook" and I do have that page open on a tab but mainly I've been elsewhere, like here posting this note.
