I've got the same problem.
I have a lot of FLAC files.
I use MP3Tag for editing the metadata, because a lot of audio files can be edited at once.

In Songbird, the metadata is not read. :-(

I am not yet familiar with the menu structure in Songbird.
I used to switch between the languages in the AddOns->Languages menu.

Windows context menu integration ?

Hello there,

there's one feature that I really miss in Songbird, that I appreciate in Winamp:
The Windows explorer context menu integration.
I'd like to right-click on directories or files and choose "play in songbird" or even "enqueue in Songbird".

Is there an add-on available, that adds this functionality perhaps?

Hi,

I just tried out the latest nightly build of Songbird. Automatically, there was an update for the german language pack installed.
After switching back to the normal Songbird 1.0, the installed version of the German language pack (which was for v1.1pre) was not compatible to v1.0.
An automatic update failed, since the version number 1.0 is lower than the installed.

I thought, I'd just uninstall the German language pack and the reinstall whole Songbird 1.0, but that did not reinstall the language pack...

So, could you please tell me, where I can manually download the German language pack as an add-on?
Among the add-ons on http://addons.songbirdnest.com/, I can't find it...

Hi there,

I used to listen to Shoutcast via Winamp.
Now I am trying to switch to Songbird, but I have problems finding the radio stations I used to listen to.
For example try "radio grunge" in Winamp or on www.shoutcast.com.
In Songbird, I don't get the results I get from Winamp or the website.

Next, I took the URL of the radiostation (http://yp.shoutcast.com/sbin/tunein-s...) and tried to open it using File->Open Location, but that doesn't work as well.

The station I am looking for especially is in AAC format with 32kbs.

I have got one entry in the error console:
Error: formatURL: Couldn't find value for key: 20und
Source File: file:///C:/Programme/Songbird/components/sbURLFormatter.js
Line: 264

I hope, someone can help me.

Hi,

is there a way to let the Songbird Mini Player automatically dock at the screen borders, when I move to to the top, bottom or side?
(like e.g. Winamp does)
