1. The most major annoyance for me is not being able to lock icon positions. They're always moving when I grow an icon or a new shortcut is created on the desktop. I like to have things stay where I put them.
2. BT should come with an option to switch the function of the "CTRL+Right-Click" command. It's annoying when you right-click and then realise you're in the wrong menu. I'd like the normal Windows right-click menu as default and then hold down CTRL for the Bumptop one.

Yeah I currently do that at the moment but it's not really the same thing.
I also left out a major factor of multiple desktops...
Current desktop switchers have the ability to move applications and windows between them, which means for those of us who might have a lot of windows open at once, we can keep the taskbar from becoming cluttered.
I'm hoping BumpTop consider this idea, because I'd definitely go pro in that case. – Winger, on April 10, 2009 12:04 -

Multiple Rooms (Multiple Desktops)Since Bumptop is designed with a cubicle or room-like appearance, it would be really great if we could have multiple rooms. Each room could be furnished uniquely (wallpapers and shortcuts) so we could have different setups for whatever reasons. For instance the user could set up a "Games Room" which would contain all of their gaming shortcuts etc.
Multiple desktops have been around for quite a while now, so there's no reason why Bumptop shouldn't add this great feature.
We also need to be able to lock the position of icons. It's becoming increasingly annoying when you grow an item and it moves all ones that you spent time placing. -
