firefoxI installed the firefox plugin.... I have the toolbar hidden because it takes too much space, but I'd like to be able to easily add a new TODO withiout hitting the site.
For a quick way to do this, I'd like to be able to Ctrl-Click on the Reqall balloon in the firefox "taskbar" at the lower right. The popup menu "Add to Recall..." works, but it's slow -- and it grabs the current URL which I don't want.
Please allow clicking the balloon with different modifier keys for the most common data entry scenarios. This will let power users quickly input data without errors - and being firefox, it's cross-platform!

Chatbot makes me start a new todo with "Remember"Why do I have to start a new todo with "remember"? It pains me to have to spell out the word. Seems like it should be the default. If you don't want to do then, then perhaps "r" could be a synonym? As in "r buy milk". All the other words (note, ask, buy) are short, but to make the most common thing (remember) the longest seems backwards. Otherwise, love all the ways to interact with the service - chat makes a ton of sense?

Synergy confuses RescueTime, reports bad dataAt work I have two machines. I have RT on both. I use Synergy (http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/) to bind the two machines.
Problem is - when I work in a client machine the host still reports "synergys" as being active. (The mouse is moving on the host, which is transmitted down to the client)
Please spend some time using Synergy to understand it and come up with a way to have accurate data reported. As it is, Synergy throws reporting off completely.
I suppose this is like a general remote control problem - if you have two machines sending updates, the "outer" one needs to be disregarded. This could either be a hardcoded list of rc apps, or the machine sending the least amount of application change.

Something seems screwy...I am getting "none" reported even when I'm asleep. Screenshot - http://screencast.com/t/xZuc5babs . The ubuntu box seems like the culprit.
Could there be an optional log file in the preferences to know what it's doing? (log file: ~/rescuetime.txt)
Also it'd be good to more easily know the version #... thx

Got the Ununtu client installed, thanks.
Double-counting seems like a distinct possibility but I guess you guys can handle that server-side. Merging asynchronous overlapping data, fun.
Scenario: I have machines A,B connected with Synergy
12:00-12:05 - Working on machine A
12:05:12:10 - Move mouse to B, work there. Go to lunch.
From what I understand, you'd get 14 minutes reported:
12:00-12:07 - A
12:05:12:12 - B
Without clipping the 12:05-12:07 overlap, that 2 minutes is a 20% exaggeration. In reality it's very easy to bounce between machines with Synergy, just like an external monitor.-

thanks will check it out
Not like vmware. quick animated gif here explains - http://synergy2.sourceforge.net/about...
"With synergy, all the computers on your desktop form a single virtual screen. You use the mouse and keyboard of only one of the computers while you use all of the monitors on all of the computers. You tell synergy how many screens you have and their positions relative to one another. Synergy then detects when the mouse moves off the edge of a screen and jumps it instantly to the neighboring screen. The keyboard works normally on each screen; input goes to whichever screen has the cursor."
