A comment on the update "BumpTop 1.13 VIP Build 3978 Now Available" in BumpTop:

Hi MashineGun,

We have a patch for this, but we need to test this on a few more machines (Windows Xp, Vista etc.) before we commit it. If it's not in the next build, then look forward to it being in one of the subsequent updates.

It looks like you are in infinite desktop mode, with a theme that has a green infinite background image -- can you try turning off infinite desktop mode in the BumpTop Settings?

Otherwise, you can try a different theme, or editing the one you have in the AppData/Bumptop folder.

I believe the default themes use Calibri as it's message font -- can you try getting that (or changing the property under your Default theme.json file to another font).

This is an experimental and unsupported feature -- and unfortuantely it does not yet work under Windows 7.

I'm not quite sure what you mean -- which widgets are you referring to?
Uninstalling BumpTop and removing those two folders should only affect BumpTop and will hopefully give you a clean slate to re-install BumpTop on.

Can you do a clean install by removing everything in your BumpTop install folder:
ie. C:\Program Files\BumpTop

and remove (or backup) your user data folder
ie. Vista: \Users\(user)\AppData\Roaming\Bump Technologies, Inc\BumpTop

Yes, unfortunately, 3018 was problematic and might have had several issues one of which prevented you from updating automatically to 3038. Glad to hear that the new update worked for you though! – Winson, on May 27, 2009 16:28

Unfortunately, the 3018 installer had some issues -- can you try and upgrade to the latest version (3038) at:

You may have to reset the scene layout from the BumpTop settings as well.
