Sorry, that's how it was for me, and from what I saw from YouTube videos it seemed normal. Besides, the text described what the panel did anyways, so I just took it as it was... Sorry for being misleading, but I didn't know it was supposed to have text on the pie menu from what I had seen online and from regular use.
Current config:
Vista Ultimate w/ SP1
Intel X3100 video "card", specifically the 965 chipset
Take your time on this issue, I personally don't mind not having text on the pie menu...
Also, will add other errors that I've seen on a YouTube vid once I get around to recoding it. At least I finally recorded it...

First of all, THANK YOU SO MUCH for your answer!
It was such an odd thing being unable to read menu!
Here it is my configuration:
OS: Windows XP SP3 continuously updated
Video: Ati Radeon HD 3870 with Catalyst V. 2008.0731 (latest)
Net Framework 3.0 installed ( also 1.0 and 2.0 are installed...)
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 X2 B.E. 6400+
If there is anything else which may be relevant I'll be pleased to post!
About video drivers, I'm sure they are the last stable version available, even because I have no problem using some games and other 3D programs.
Actually I'm using the black version of the classic theme, but also switching back to the Classic Theme menu items are not visible!
P.S. i would like to excuse for my previous comment...I assumed that Mitsugaru knows for sure the problem. ;)

Sorry guys but the text should ALWAYS be shown at all times on the marking menu, if you are seeing otherwise please let us know along with your hardware configuration so we can try and reproduce and fix this.
Just to check Nyxin, do you have the latest drivers for you video card? And can you try setting it to a different theme to ensure that it's not an issue with the current theme font settings?

What message you are getting? Are you testing BumpTop from a machine behind a proxy? – winson, on October 06, 2008 18:46

Hell's bells.
Make any icon you want be a normalized OBJ mesh with UV mapping and all. You could even get it to RTRT (realtime raytracing) for the visual, but that's just my ideal aesthetic...
Custom icon models would be nice though. I'd love to be able to make a custom structure for my files as well, i.e. 3D-Mesh wallpaper, and full camera control as well would be nice for in the future.

The default view doesn't actually show the full back wall, unless you are also seeing textures being cut off when you double click the wall to zoom into it? – winson, on September 26, 2008 17:26

Okay, thanks. The most important thing is that you are aware of this problem. – Tazz, on September 25, 2008 23:43

Ah, then unfortunately, it's a known problem. We actually had a fix for this in for this update in fact, but it was causing serious issues on a (incidentally, also German) Vista machine of one of our beta users. We're going to review that change and hopefully fix this for you guys in the next update. – winson, on September 25, 2008 23:33

They should be showing up already - are you using a non-English version of Windows? – winson, on September 25, 2008 23:23
