Hey guys,

We're in the process of reviewing whether to keep the BumpTop Explorer Extension as a part of the main installation of BumpTop and would like to hear what people think. We also understand that many users have had issues with the extension dll (BTShExt.dll) and slow loading issues. Some of those issues have been fixed, while others are still being worked on.

For those who are currently using the feature, do you find this compelling enough to keep in the installation (considering issues that others are having with the extension)? And how would you compare it to having the BumpTop for non-desktop directories? (ie. with all the walls, just the scene is pointed to any number of directories of your choosing.

Most touchpads support scrolling -- does yours? If so, scrolling a stacked pile should flip through it as well.

Sorry to hear that you guys are still having this problem -- we've made some changes in this iteration which _might_ help this issue (not certain), but we still think it has to do with certain video drivers since it's only isolated to a few users.

Hi youngscripter, we've actually put that in there since we noticed that a few computer configurations were having issues writing to the registry/settings file and were continually flooding our servers with stats. You shouldn't have been able to remove the virtual icons (My Computer, etc.), can you let us know how you did so?

To restore the all the icons to their default position, you can just load the settings from BumpTop system tray and click Reset BumpTop Layout.

It seems that there may be some window ordering issues on your machine, are you using any other applications (ie. widget apps/overlays/customizations) that we can test against on our side?

Also, at this time, you can just type the name of the file you are looking for when BumpTop is focused and it will return the same files as returned by the search popup.
