Hi there,

The first issue that you need to resolve is why explorer crashes. Since BumpTop is created as a desktop window, once the desktop closes, so does BumpTop.

If you could explain a bit more about how your explorer is crashing (or what you are doing when it does), then perhaps some people on this board can help you get that fixed as well.

Hi there, if you find that you need to disable it temporarily, you can just right click on the tray icon and exit BumpTop from there. Otherwise, there is an option in the settings to turn off automatically starting up BumpTop with Windows to disable it for the future.

Hi guys, just to confirm -- were you existing beta users? If so there may be a lingering authorization key. Search for the file 'settings.json' and remove the value for the key "authCode". This will also be fixed in our update tomorrow.

We are actually polling the Windows Thumbs db thumbnails when possible to preserve video memory -- which is why you are seeing the low res images. We are looking into adding an option to bypass this for people who have the capable systems.
