We're actually using the same mechanism that happens when you select a bunch of files in Explorer and right click > Send To > Mail Recipient. Can you confirm that it is working in that case?

If not, it may be an issue with your email client. (which client are you using by the way?)

There were actually two releases of Beta 16, one of which (rev. 1960) was released a couple days ago which should have addressed the startup crash issue -- can you uninstall BumpTop, remove the lingering files in C:\Program Files\BumpTop and re-download the installer from our site? – winson, on November 27, 2008 16:52

Are you using the latest version that we've pushed out last night? If not, can you uninstall and remove all the files from C:\Program Files\BumpTop (or the directory where you installed BumpTop into), and re-download the installer and try again?

First things first, are you using the latest update that we pushed out tonight? If not give that a try. Otherwise, can you uninstall your BumpTop, remove all files in your C:\Program Files\BumpTop (or whichever directory you've installed BumpTop into), and reinstall from the installer on the download page?

We just pushed out another update tonight -- can you try uninstalling your copy of BumpTop (it won't delete your settings or anything), and just reinstall it from the download page (http://www.bumptop.com/download) to see if that helps?

To install, we need to write to Program Files and set a few registry keys, as well as install the BumpTop Explorer Extension. We understand your hesitation to give access to a random program, but since we (and a couple thousand other beta users) are running the exact same builds on our machines, we hope that you'll consider making an exception! :)

The code can be used on up to three computers, so you should be covered if you are just reinstalling.

Otherwise, just let us know your email address and we can deactivate all the computers associated with the code for you.

Another user had success clearing out their config directory:
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_USERNAME\Local Settings\Application Data\Bump Technologies, Inc\BumpTop\

Can you give that a try? Also, are you using a non-default theme?
